[Ephesians 4:11-16 KJV] “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”
“till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:”
“that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:”
“from whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
We are called and graced to serve the Lord in the work of ministry. Remember, the purpose of the church is not church! The purpose of the church is evangelism and discipleship. Everyone of us is called for the effective workings of the parts to produce increase.
Listen, the whole walk of faith is a warfare and battle; you must be ready to fight and win the battle. You must win and fight stronger.
Let us pray;
- Pray that God will help us to be strong Christians. Pray for fresh energy! Pray for fresh strength and passion. May the Lord make us strong believers and Christians.
- Pray that you will be led by the Holy Spirit and be in the will of God. Pray that you ears and eyes hall be opened to perceive and hear the voice of the Holy Ghost! Pray!
- Pray that the Father will help you to enter the ministry and stay in your calling. Pray! Demas did not stay in his calling. He left because he loved the present world.
- Pray that the Lord will help you to be a spiritual person and not to be carnal. Pray and fight to be spiritual!
- Pray that the Lord will help you to associate with great men of God. Elisha knew how to relate with Elijah; but Gahazi failed, Judas failed, John Mark failed.
- Pray that the Lord will help you to catch the anointing.
