[Jeremiah 29:7 KJV] “And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.“
I want to encoruarge you to pray for the place you live, work and conduct you business. It is in her peace that you find peace. We are sent by God to cities and we are the agents expected to save such cities and places from sinking and getting lost. You are that agent that saves her from destruction.
Two things will happen when we learn to pray for the places we live, work, and conduct your business;
- God will spare the land and save the people.
- We will find peace and serve God honestly.
When the Russian-Ukarine war began, people had to flee. There was a break in even normal communication. I exhort you to pray for nations.
Prayer target
- Lift up your voice and thank God for the place you live, work, and conduct your business. Bless God for the access you still have to such a place.
- Father, we stand in the gap and plead that you spare us. Forgive us and forgive our fathers and the fathers of every night. We stand and pray that the wicked will not find reason to afflict us.
- May the Lord preserve and sustain all kings and leaders. We pray that you shall graciously help our president and the men appointed to steer the affairs of Ghana.
- Pray for men and woman called to work in the forces. May the Lord give them wisdom to discharge their duties. May the Lord begin to work on their minds and hearts to do what is right.
- Pray that the nations shall see a fresh revival. Lift up your voice and pray that the Lord shall arise and shake the heaven and the earth again. May there be a revival! May God step into time and turn our hearts towards Him one more time.
