[Luke 17:11-19 KJV] “And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: and they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.”
“And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.”
“And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.“
I want to share on the blessings that flow through showing appreciation. It pays to return to give God all the glory. We must learn the practice of returning to give God the glory and to say thank you. After Jesus healed ten lepers, the only one that returned to say thank you was profusely blessed by God.
Thanksgiving must be a lifestyle; may your lives overflow with gratitude and ceaseless praise and appreciation. As you return to give all the glory to God, may you be blessed and overflow with blessings.
- May your thanksgiving be pleasing to the Lord! Thanksgiving is the will of God concerning us. It show that we depend on Him and we trust in where He is leading us. (See 1 Thessalonians 5:18)
- Because you have returned to offer thanks, may the miracles and benevolence you have recieved be sanctified. May your thanksgiving sanctify the gifts and benevolence you have recieved. May the giving of thanks sanctify and make our meals whole! May your act of thanksgiving neutralise every poison and contamination in any food you eat.
- May your thanksgiving make more room for you. Recieve the blessings that seal your miracles in the name of Jesus Christ! (See Luke 17:19)
- Because you returned to offer thanksgiving with prayer, may the peace of God that surpasses all understanding to guard and protect your minds and hearts. (See Philippians 4:6)
- Because you have returned to say thank you, may you be healed from backsliding, pride, disloyalty, and ingratitude, in the name of Jesus Christ!
You shall be made every wit whole and you shall be full in the name of Jesus Christ!
Stay blessed
