[Hebrews 1:7, 13-14 KJV] “And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, And his ministers a flame of fire. But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them whoo shall be heirs of salvation?“
I want to speak to you on the subject of angels. They are ministering spirits sent by God to minister for the heirs of salvation.
They have a two-fold assignment with regards to humans:
- To minister in the earthly realms as messengers to deliver messages and to help
- To minister in the spiritual realms as protectors and guides
Things you should know about angels
- Angels are spirits
- Angels can put on human form (See Hebrews 13:2)
- Angels eat a special diet (See Psalms 78:25)
- No angel of God recieve worship from a child of God. (See Revelation 22:8-9)
- We shall judge angels. (See 1 Corinthians 11:10)
- It is possible for angels to make foolish decisions.
[Job 4:12-21 KJV] “Now a thing was secretly brought to me, And mine ear received a little thereof. In thoughts from the visions of the night, When deep sleep falleth on men, Fear came upon me, and trembling, Which made all my bones to shake.”
“Then a spirit passed before my face; The hair of my flesh stood up: It stood still, But I could not discern the form thereof: An image was before mine eyes, There was silence, and I heard a voice, saying, Shall mortal man be more just than God? Shall a man be more pure than his maker?”
“Behold, he put no trust in his servants; And his angels he charged with folly: How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Which are crushed before the moth?”
“They are destroyed from morning to evening: They perish for ever without any regarding it. Doth not their excellency which is in them go away? They die, even without wisdom.“
4 ways to activate your angels to work
- Acknowledge their presence with you: There are guardian angels all around us. God has assigned them to keep us lest we dash our feet against a stone.
- Fear God: “In all your ways acknowledge Him”. Psalm 34:7 teaches that the angels of the Lord emcamps round about them that fear God.
- Respect and align with spiritual order and authority: You cannot dishonour spiritual authority and expect angels to work for you and minister for you. (See 1 Corinthians 11:3-4)
- Pray that you angels will be deployed: (See Matthew 26:51-53) The Lord teaches that you can pray your father to send angels to fight for you.
Stay blessed!
