[John 1:43, 45-46 KJV] “The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me. Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.“
The next secret I want to share with you in becoming a radical soulwinner is to share your faith with friends and family. Let your conversations be filled with the opening phrase “I believe….” and followed by what you have learnt. When Jesus called Phillip, he came; and when he met met Him, he went to call his brother Nathaniel.
When we learn to tell everyone we met the truth we believe, the people who encounter us shall be touched with light. Philip spoke to Nathaneal and he also believed. You are the only missionary that your friends and family may encounter. You are the light planted in that household to give light. The whole creation is waiting earnestly for your manifestation.
You don’t need Bible school training to share your faith. The woman of Samaria just went out and told everyone what she believed. She said “I met a man who told me everything about myself.” This is that time when you must be the missionary to the place you live and work. You must always remember that people are watching; and be intentional about sharing your faith.
This means of reaching the world is cost effective. It is both inexpensive and effective. Most people believe because someone they know have tried and believe. We know that faith comes before experience. As we get friends and family to believe, they begin to experience God for themselves.
Prayer
- Bless God for friends and family. Thank Him that He has taken you out of solitary and set you in your family.
- Remember that you are in your family for a reason. There is a purpose you are called to serve in that family. Pray for grace to serve that purpose
- Pray that God will anoint you with healing and the grace to work miracles. Pray that your hand upon the sick shall release their healing. Pray that you shall become that great healer to your family.
- Pray that the Lord will begin to work on the minds and hearts of your friends and family. Pray that God will help them to believe.
- Thank God for an answered prayer!
