[John 6:66-69 KJV] “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.“
If you pick your Bible now and read a few verses of this text upwards, you will realise that the disciples of Christ got offended and left the church because He preached a hard message! When the multitude left, Jesus Christ turned back and asked, will you also go away? Then Peter answered “to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life.”
He went further to say “we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the son of the Living God.” Listen! We have come too far to return. We know too much now and we are settled in our hearts that we are in the right company.
Nothing can change our minds now! We know what we know and we are sure that this the truth. We are committed and will not turn back. Grace is sufficient and we are here to build.
We have found the man who has eternal life. We are not going anywhere. We are stuck with Him. We are not going any where, not even an inch! Jesus Christ is who we know and we will follow, love and serve Him all the days of our lives. We are co-labourers with him and there is no stopping now!
