1. Pray that the word of God will have it’s free course; pray also for missionaries who have given the themselves to the work of the Lord! Pray that God will deliver them from wicked and unreasonable men!
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.” (2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 KJV)
2. Let us pray that the Lord will give us power and authority over sickness and devils! Pray for power to heal the sick and cast out devils! Pray!
“Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick”. (Luke 9:1-2 KJV)
Pray that His presence will go with us and as we step out may the Lord cause His name and power to heal the sick and cast out devil’s!
3. Pray that the Lord will send more labourers into the vineyard! Pray that more people shall be added to the workforce!
“After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest”. (Luke 10:1-2 KJV)
4. Let us pray for all men, for kings, and for people in authority
“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty”. (1 Timothy 2:1-2 KJV)
