[Judges 6:1-6 KJV] “And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years. And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.”
“And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them; and they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.”
“For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it. And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.“
I want to exhort you to arise and join me today as we begin to attack negative cycles. The Bible teaches that because Israel did evil in the sight of God, He handed them over to the Midianites; and this began the negative cycles in their lives as a state. The Bible said the Midianites came everytime Israel had planted, and devoured their increase; as a result Israel became impoverished.
There are many of you reading now who have been devastated by a series of many negative things. If you have been vigilant, you would have observed that some trends and cycles have accounted for the poverty and hardness you face. We want to arise and lift up prayer to break every negative cycles in your life right now!
- Thank God for a new day and abounding revelation. Thank Him for insight into the situation and circumstances of your life. Understanding is the first step to freedom.
- Pray that our father will forgive our sins. Pray that God will forgive us and temper justice with mercy. May the Lord be gracious, pardon and reverse every negative trend in the name of Jesus!
- Pray for any negative cycle working against you to break now. We subdue and rebuke any demonic spirit that have capitalised on the results of our disobedience to afflict us!
- Pray for the restoration of all that locust and palmerworm have eaten. Pray that this month begins the season of restoration of all that the caterpillar and locust have devoured!
