[2 Corinthians 5:1-15 KJV] “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.”
“Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (for we walk by faith, not by sight:) we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.”
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.”
“For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: and that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.“
One key thing that sustains useful action is understanding; why is it so? Most often than not, we loose desire and drive when the purpose is not clear. We, therefore, want to understand why we were called into the faith to walk in the way.
To live unto Him that died and rose again for us.
One died for all that those who live should not live unto themselves but unto He that died for them. This is the purpose of our calling on the earth. To live unto He that died and rose again for us.
To continue in the path or the steps of Christ until we attain unto His stature. It should be a daily walk and consistent until you attain unto His standing.
The only guaranteed secret to enduring success is seeking first the kingdom and the righteousness of God first
Matthew 6:33 , teaches us to seek first the kingdom and righteousness of God, and every thing shall fall in place. Your primary purpose for living should be to win your soul and gain the world. The first goal is saving your soul, then all other things will be added unto you.
Every one of us has what it takes to win cities to Christ, even at new birth
Even at new birth, every convert has what it takes to win cities for Christ. Your testimonies are your most effective weapons: we see how the testimony of the man of Gadara transformed nations (See Mark 5). The woman of Samaria had no Bible school training, all she had was a geniune encounter with power.
Remember, it’s a constant battle against the flesh, devils, and world system.
Roman 7:14, there may be times when the good you want to do, you will be unable to do it; the evil you don’t want to do is what you will do. Don’t get tired, keep pressing and you will win. You may have to resist unto blood. If you fall, or faulter, humbly admit your wrong and seek forgiveness, and cleansing (See 1 John 1:9).
Remember, there is a mark of the high calling, you must attain unto
Many are called but few are chosen; you must make your election sure!
