[1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV]: “Pray without ceasing.”
Prayer is one of the key requirements that will sustain your faith while we wait for the coming of the Lord. In his letter to the church in Thessalonica, Apostle Paul exhorted them to pray without ceasing. We must do everything by prayer, and nothing without prayer.
[1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV]: “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Thank the Lord for everything. Let us bless Him for He is good, and His mercies endure forever!
[Philippians 4:6 KJV]: “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
Pray that the Lord will have mercy on you. Father, in Your great mercy, forsake us not! Do not let Your presence depart from us. Direct our path by Your Spirit!
[Nehemiah 9:19 KJV]: “Yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of fire by night, to show them light, and the way wherein they should go.”
Father, contend with them that contend with us! Break the weapons of war formed against us! Cause us to triumph over the wicked!
[Isaiah 54:17 KJV]: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”
Father, help every member of this commission! Give each member the grace to rise to the top! Receive more than enough grace! Pray for great grace to do the work of God!
[Hebrews 13:6 KJV]: “When the Lord is your helper, no man can do anything to you. They may program and arrange, but it shall not come near you. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”
Stay blessed.
