Habakkuk 3:1-2 MSG — [1-2] A prayer of the prophet Habakkuk, with orchestra: God, I’ve heard what our ancestors say about you, and I’m stopped in my tracks, down on my knees. Do among us what you did among them. Work among us as you worked among them. And as you bring judgment, as you surely must, remember mercy.
Our prayer of petition today is a call on God to revive his works in the midst of the years. We know that the Lord would crown the year with goodness; hence our plea that he revive his works in the midst of the years.
Psalm 65:11 KJV – Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; And thy paths drop fatness.
When we hear of testimonies of the generations gone by; our hearts skips a beat. Our prayer is that God will do among us, and for us; may the Lord work among us, as He did in times of old. May the Lord remember mercy when He must implement judgememt.
May the Lord stretch forth His hand and heal the sick again as we preach the gospel! May the Lord work miracles among us and minister the spirit as we listen by faith! May demons be subject to us! May we see the works of GOD. Father! Revive your works in the midst of the years! Oh Lord! Crown the year with your goodness!
As we gather, may your spirit dwell within us! As we gather, may we glorify your name; knowing well that as our hearts begin to worship, we will be blessed just because we came! Expect revival to happen!
Stay blessed!
