Nahum 1:9-13 KJV — “What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. [10] For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry”.
[11] “There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor. [12] Thus saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more. [13] For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder“.
Say with me “affliction shall not arise a second time!” ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Just as a snake will bite without enchantment; affliction can arise without a just cause! In the book of Job, the scriptures reveal that calamity and affliction often fly as sparks of fire and can cross anyone’s path. I however decree your release from the bond! May they break asunder and the yoke taken off from you!
I don’t know what you may be going through but affliction shall not arise a second time! May the Lord break every bond asunder! May every yoke be taken off you in the name of Jesus!
We must resist the reoccurrence of any affliction! We resist any form of relapse or reoccurrence of affliction a second time in the name of Jesus! No sickness shall occur again a second time! No affliction shall occur again second time. I have no doubt in my mind or heart. I am certain that calamity shall not rise a second time!
The message has a better way to put it. God is putting an end the the trouble maker.
Nahum 1:7-13 MSG — “God is good, a hiding place in tough times. He recognizes and welcomes anyone looking for help, No matter how desperate the trouble. But cozy islands of escape He wipes right off the map. No one gets away from God. Why waste time conniving against God? He’s putting an end to all such scheming. For troublemakers, no second chances. Like a pile of dry brush, Soaked in oil, they’ll go up in flames.“
[11] “Nineveh’s an anthill of evil plots against God, A think tank for lies that seduce and betray. [12-13] And God has something to say about all this: “Even though you’re on top of the world, With all the applause and all the votes, you’ll be mowed down flat. “I’ve afflicted you, Judah, true, but I won’t afflict you again. From now on I’m taking the yoke from your neck and splitting it up for kindling. I’m cutting you free from the ropes of your bondage.” * * *
The Lord will reduce the avenger to nothing! He will cut us free from the ropes of bondage!
How do I know?
- God has said it
- We are ready to resist the adversary
- The force of heaven will back us!
