Acts 17:6 KJV — “And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also“
The gospel changes the world where it is received and people are willing to pay the price. When God finds a man that is willing to pay the price to send the gospel and it is received it changes the world.
The life of Mary changed when she received the gospel. She yielded and God transformed her life and gave her a miracle. Jesus was the miracle. She became the mother of God when she received the glad tidings.
The people of the city testified that the gospel has a great impact on cities. They said “those who turn cities upside down are here.” This is a testimony of the impact that the gospel and those who sacrifice to spread have on cities. I have no doubt that as we step out and preach the word, we will have a massive impact on the cities. May God cause your gospel to make a necessary change on those who hear you!
Prayer points
I pray that God shall find men and women who are willing to take the risk and take the gospel to the ends of the world. We want to see the power of God save and transform the world. May the power be released through preaching and teaching.
May the Lord prepare the hearts of people to believe the gospel. May the people be enlightened by the truth when we preach.
I pray that the gospel will transform society… may the power of God to save be released in the name of Jesus!
