1 Timothy 2:1-3 KJV — “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; [2] for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. [3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;“
The first step in abounding in the work of the Lord is to pray. This is the first step toward this honourable and spiritual goal. You don’t need to do much, just lift up prayer and intercede for the harvest. This should come before anything else.
- Thank God for the opportunity to be involved with the great harvest. Pray for the harvest of soul.
- Pray for all men. Pray that they shall come to the saving knowledge of Christ. Pray that they shall understand and see the glorious light in the gospel.
- Pray for kings and for people in authority, that you shall be able to live a quiet and a peaceable life.
- Pray and silence any power and influence of darkness that will try to stand in the path between us and the harvest. We decree that no power can hinder us from entering into places.
- Pray for the release of unction to function. Thank God for grace and stay blessed.
