Matthew 5:14 KJV — Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
You are the light of the world, a generation appointed to shine as lights in a crooked and perverse generation. We have a serious task to finish. We cannot sleep anymore. We must arise and strengthen the pillars of our church, and ministry.
It’s important to remind you that our church has a life; and our fellowship is built on some four key pillars:
- Reaching the unreached
- Deepening our intimacy with the Father
- Equipping the saints for effective ministry
- Gaining deeper roots through fellowship and understanding the things of God
In other words, the four pillars or keys are Worship, Evangelism, Teaching, and Fellowship. You can’t play down on one and expect full benefits. Each of these pillars supports you in a sense. I exhort you to fully get involved in all four this month of February.
Remember that Sunday services are dedicated to worship, teaching, and mobilizing resources for outreach. It’s important to come on time and bring a friend with you. It’s important to come with your Bible and something to take notes. We must become like the church of Berea.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are dedicated to prayer and worship. We commit ourselves to grow deeper in intimacy and roots in the things of God. These are evening meetings that can give you deep roots in the things of God. Come prepared to receive and to grow in the things of God.
Fridays are given to street preaching, turning men to the faith by the word and tract. We spend the Saturdays preparing to receive you to worship on Sundays. Fridays and Saturdays are committed to reaching the unreached and following up the backsliding.
I pray for grace and anointing for you to abound in the work of the Lord. May you see blessings as you serve the Lord with gladness. May you stay with your pastor as he shepherds the church. None shall fail nor be lost. You will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. You shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord.
Stay blessed
