1 John 5:18-19 KJV — We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. [19] And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
Without an iota of doubt, we all know that the whole world lies in wickedness. We also know that there is the wicked one who is seeking an occasion to touch you. He comes in to steal, kill, and destroy. He specializes in destroying good and stealing treasures.
This is the time for each of us to ascend, possess, and abound in the mountain the Lord has appointed us to. Each of us is called and gifted to occupy and possess. Some are called to dominate the sphere of religion or the sphere of governance and order, or the sphere of science and technology. There are seven of these mountains and we are called to occupy and possess them. Remember, you can abound on any of the mountains God has appointed for you.
The second truth is the fact that each of the mountains have gods, inhabitants, cartels, and spirits that control them. There are forces operating in specific industries and sectors. We must prepare ourselves to abound in this perverse and wicked world.
Steps to possess and occupy the mountains:
- Do all things without murmuring
- Spend time in and with the word of God
- Watch and pray with fasting always
- Continue in fellowship with those who call upon God out of a pure heart
- Obey in absence just as you do in my presence; endure temptation and be patient in the face of trials.
- Be kind and compassionate towards the poor and needy
It is through acts of kindness, compassion, and fellowship that we can strive to create pockets of positivity and light in a world that sometimes feels shrouded in darkness.
As individuals, we have the power to choose our own actions and reactions in the face of evil, working towards a world where kindness and empathy can prevail over wickedness and malice.
