3 John 1:2-4 KJV — Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. [3] For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. [4] I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
My desire as your pastor, is that you would prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. And I believe God has the same will and desire for everyone of His children. He assures us in His world that if we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness all other things which the world seeks will be added unto us. We can find this in Matthew chapter 6 verse 33.
My prayer for you this morning is that you break out of the survival mode and advance to gain financial freedom. As God was taking Israel to the promised Land, He assured them that they will eat their bread with sufficiency; He promised that He was taking scarcity from their life. The land they were moving in to possess was a land that was flowing with milk and honey; a land that drink of the water of heaven
There are different levels or stages of financial status. There are different stages of wealth creation: survival, sufficiency, stability, sustainability, security, and freedom. I pray that God will move you to financial freedom.
- Survival: At this stage, you live off the benevolence, when you don’t earn enough to afford food, shelter, and clothing.
- Sufficiency: Able to afford your food, clothes, shelter, and responsibility. This is the stage when all bills are paid and you are out of debt
- Sustainability: This is the stage when all savings are fully funded, you are making investments, you have passive income, giving to charity, financing a cause.
- Freedom: When you are partnering with your pastor, God is supplying all your needs according to His riches in glory; God is causing men to give back unto you a good measure, press down, and shaken together; you are enjoying the dividends of the bread you cast upon the water; leaving an inheritance for your children and children’s children;
