Judges 16:16-17 KJV — And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death; [17] that he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother’s womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.
Many of us take the anointing for granted because we are unaware of the impact and the role of the anointing in our lives. Like David, Samson knew the difference that the anointing makes. He understood that if the anointing is lifted he would become like any other man. He knew that the anointing made a big difference in his life.
I am exhorting you to pray that God will anoint you with His presence and power. This is for the simple reason that;
- There are many things like yokes, curses, and human frailties that only the anointing can remove. Many people are stopped by these things in life and they wonder why. Pray that the anointing will break every yoke, overturn curses, and quicken your mortal bodies.
- The anointing will enhance your skills and talents to help you make an impact. When the anointing was on Samson, he was another man. He was a different man by all standards. I pray that the fresh oil coming up on you will transform you into another man.
- The anointing makes you streetwise. You need the anointing to teach you all things. We need the wisdom and power the anointing brings.
Let us find time today to pray for the anointing of His presence and power. The anointing will make a big difference in your life. The anointing will change many things. The anointing brings a great blessing. The anointing makes a difference.
Prophetic Prayer and declaration
Pray that the Lord will anoint you with the Spirit and with power. May your head never lack ointment! May you never lack power. May the grace of God be mighty upon you! Receive the power and the grace!
