The anointing alone is not enough to make an impact and fulfill your ministry. The donkey of Balaam was anointed to prophesy, but did not become a prophet; King Saul and all the soldiers he sent to arrest David were anointed to prophesy but they did not become prophets.
The anointing will help you to make an impact and fulfill your ministry when it is augmented by the following five factors:
1. Character:
We need character to sustain the anointing. A little folly will make the ointment smell.
2. Wisdom to direct:
Wisdom is the principal thing; we are admonished to get wisdom in all of our getting. The anointing will attract all sorts of people and we must be willing to get wisdom to handle the ministry and challenges that may arise from it.
3. A team of helpers and associates:
One of the first things Jesus Christ did after being anointed is to call people to follow and help with the ministry. He called them from all walks of life. From the tax booths, from fishing harbours, from all walks of life.
4. Hard work:
Apostle Paul laboured above all his peers; Jesus Christ didn’t sit at one place, he went about doing good. We must step out and fulfill the ministry.
5. Money:
The anointing has a good expression when there is money to pay for its journey. Pray for financial partners. Pray that God will send certain men and women with the right heart and financial capacity to your ministry.
Stay blessed!
