Mark 16:17-20 KJV — And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; [18] they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
[19] So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. [20] And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
The Bible tells us these signs shall follow them that believe; every believer must have signs that follow them. Why have we changed the order? Why are the believers now following the signs? Why are we running around looking for a place to find signs?
As a believer, you must;
- Speak with a new tongue
- Lay hands on the sick
- Be immune to deadly poison
- Cast out devils in Jesus’ name
- Take up serpents without harm
There are signs that the Holy Spirit imparts to your life after you believe. Every believer! Not every evangelist! These signs follow every believer.
This is the time and today is the day; let us restore the order. Let us get our arts together! These signs must follow you! Stop chasing signs and start manifesting your own signs! We have work to do; to win the world with the gospel; but there are people who will not believe until they see signs and miracles. Let us believe and intentionally manifest the signs!
Remember the order;
- They heard the Lord speak
- They believed, and
- They went everywhere preaching.
They didn’t stay at one place; nor did they go everywhere seeking miracles; they went everywhere preaching and the Lord confirmed their word with signs following!
Stop seeking for signs and start working your own. Signs must follow you, not you following signs. Restore the order and make God proud of you.
