Deuteronomy 8:18 KJV — But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
We understand from scriptures that money answers all things under heaven. Whether you agree or not money has power and influence many things under heaven. In as much as a feast is made for laughter, money answers all things. I am sharing with you three things you must do if you want to make wealth. Note that God may not drop money through your ceiling but He will give you the power; and you must use the power to make wealth. Do these three things and see wealth come to you
- Look to God as your source.
- Respect kingdom laws of supply
- Expect overflow
The first step to true riches is to look to God as your source. Your job, business, investment, and side hustles are just channels. The Bible teaches us to seek first the kingdom and righteousness of God and he will add all other things the world is running after. You may have two or three jobs, investments, and side hustles; those are just channels of blessings, the real source of wealth is God. You must look to God as your source and your business as a channel. May the Lord give you the power to make wealth!
The second thing you can do to help yourself is to respect kingdom laws of supply. For instance, the Bible says as long as the heavens remain, seed time and harvest shall not cease; you must learn to take care of what takes care of you if you want to continue to enjoy the care. You must replenish the earth that takes care of you. You need to sow back to the place where you reap. Mostly we reap where we have not sown; but to continue reaping, we must be sowing. You are working at your job now because your parents prepared you for it; you can sustain the cycle when you prepare your children for the job market too. This is not transactional, it is wisdom.
Lastly, expect an overflow. Expectation, faith, and hopes are the line to the hook that catches the fish. You must expect wealth and possess it. The expectation of the righteous shall not be cut off. Our faith plays a very important role in reaping the harvest.

Let’s decree and declare that the Lord is my shepherd and I shall not want. God is my source and he gives me the power to make wealth. Pray that God will give us kingdom ideas to make wealth. Pray that as you the God of reaping and sowing will supply all of your needs according to riches in Glory!
