There are invisible records – spiritual handwritings and ordinances – that stand as accusations against people, families, and generations. These are the unseen verdicts that manifest as delay, rejection, reproach, or limitation.
In Daniel 5:25–27, the handwriting on the wall declared judgment over Babylon. In Zechariah 5:1–4, a flying scroll carried a curse into the house of the thief and the perjurer. But through the cross, Christ has blotted out every handwriting of ordinances contrary to us (Colossians 2:14).
He nailed them to the cross, publicly disarming the powers that enforced them. As you stand in the finished work of Christ, every accusation and evil record written against you must be erased, and every contrary decree must bow to the blood of Jesus.
Prayer Points:
- Father, by the blood of Jesus, blot out every handwriting and ordinance written against my life and destiny, and nail them permanently to the cross (Colossians 2:14).
- Lord, let every verdict of judgment like the one written on the wall against Babylon be reversed by mercy and replaced with divine favor (Daniel 5:25–27).
- O Lord of hosts, let every evil scroll or curse flying against my family and generation be consumed by Your fire and lose its power forever (Zechariah 5:1–4).
- Father, by the triumph of Christ on the cross, I declare that every demonic record of failure, sickness, or limitation is canceled and replaced with the testimony of victory (Colossians 2:15).
- I decree that from today, only the handwriting of grace, life, and blessing will speak over me and my household in every place and season (Colossians 2:13).
Prophetic Direction:
Take a clean sheet of paper and, by faith, write down every negative pattern, accusation, or recurring limitation you’ve identified in your life or family – things like failure, sickness, delay, or rejection. Lay your hand on it and declare aloud:
“By the blood of Jesus, every handwriting and ordinance contrary to me is blotted out and nailed to the cross!”
Then tear the paper while declaring Colossians 2:14–15 three times.
Finally, take another sheet and write what you now receive by faith – victory, favor, healing, open doors, divine restoration – and lift it up in thanksgiving.
As you do this prophetic act, the Lord will enforce your freedom, and new decrees of blessing will begin to speak for you.
