Genesis 4:7 KJV — If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
It’s important to understand that there is evil and sin in this world; with the agenda to have you. Sin and evil are never an accident; it takes seed and matures to deliver. When Cain became angry because his sacrifice was not pleasing to God, God warned him of impending danger that was couching at his door. Most often than not we are warned of impending danger but we often miss the warning; either because we have believed in vanity or our hearts are hardened.
I pray that as you sow and share this Seed for Today, God will help you to master and subdue the desires of evil. May the Lord help you to escape the traps of darkness! May God cause you to win in this war against the flesh! You will not be swallowed by the desire of sin. May you escape the traps that are set for you! May your own selfish and parochial desires not trap you!
Remember that in the last days men shall be delivering and be deceived. May you never fall into the trap of deception in the name of Jesus Christ! Receive a discerning heart! Receive grace and walk in the ability to subdue evil in the name of Jesus Christ! Just be strong and beware! Evil and sin tempt in many ways. Receive grace!
