Isaiah 32:9-15 KJV — Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech. [10] Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come. [11] Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.
[12] They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine. [13] Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:
[14] because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; [15] until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
I heard a loud voice calling on women to pray. We have been careless enough, the time has come when we either pray or become a prey. This is the time that mothers must arise and pray for their children and the men they love.
The prophet is calling on us to pray, until the spirit be poured. We must pray and pray and pray until the spirit has been poured upon the land. Difficult times are stirring us in the face and the only thing that can save us is the prayer of mothers. When the mothers pray, God may graciously answer and spare the Lord.
When we refuse to pray, we may wail and mourn. Please, it is either we pray or we mourn. Scarcity, fear, violence is about to attack the land. We risk losing our sons and daughters, if we don’t arise up as a matter of urgency to pray.
Matthew 2:17-18 KJV — “Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, [18] In Rama was there a voice heard, Lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, And would not be comforted, because they are not.“
The future of our children and nation hang in the balance. This is the time and now is the hour to intercede for our nation. The devil is ready to attack. Mothers, let us arise and pray earnestly. Let us arise and pray.
