[Joel 2:21‭-‬26 KJV] “Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.”

“Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.”

“And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”

“And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed”

The Lord sent me to announce to you to fear not! Whether things have gone right or wrong, fear not! The Lord said, “none of the things you have been through or going through has the power to finish you!” You are coming out because He is going to restore all the wasted years. All that the palmerworm, the caterpillar, the cankerworm, and the locust have destroyed He will restore. I see restoration coming!

This month of August is our month of restoration. It is in this month that we are believing God to restore all the years, and all that the palmerworm, caterpillar, and cankerworm have eaten. We are stepping into restoration. It doesn’t matter what you are experiencing; one thing I know for sure is that prophetically, God has declared to restore to us the wasted years. RECEIVE THE RESTORATION OF GOD!

Some say there is no hope for us in God but that is a lie! God is set to help and restore all things. God is coming to our rescue. I have no doubt that God will restore all the things we lost.

What are the palmerworm, cankerworm, caterpillar, and locust?

Most often than not, I hear preachers say “all that the locust, caterpillar, palmerworm, and cankerworm have destroyed, I will restore”, but what are these? What do they represent? How would you recognise these pests the next time they try to attack? I don’t think we should leave life to chance, we must fight and dominate these devourers.

The book of Job reveals to us what these devourers are. We saw them in manifestation in the life of Job. These are the things that attacked Job and grounded him till he was restored. I believe the days of his affliction would have been shortened if he knew the devil was behind it. Job, his friends, and the people of his day did not have a revelation of Satan. They knew very little about the presence of this evil one.

In that same way, many of us always ascribe reasons for the happenings of our lives and never blame the devil. We blame witches, enemies, people, family, friends, etc; but we hardly directly understand that there is a mastermind behind the organised army of darkness attacking us. We end up fighting everyone except the real mastermind.

Four main things attacked Job; these are the locust and caterpillars and cankerworm and palmerworm.

Acts of God, natural disasters, and accidents (the servants mentioned fire of God and winds from the wilderness).
Wickedness perpetuated by both faced and faceless people; thieves, murderers, armed robbers, wicked people.
Chronic diseases and health challenges. Job became sick.
Utterance, visions, and imaginations (sometimes the real torture is in what people say, what we say, what we see in the deeps of the bleak nights, and the imaginations).

I have been there before. My mind was tortured by my thoughts and the things people said. The word hurt to the core and I thought I was finished. I have no doubt that the same God will bring you out!

Prophetic tips to stir the restoration

Restoration does not happen in a vacuum. The whole process is triggered by engaging with some simple prophetical tips:

Repentance (rending your hearts and not your clothes),
Gathering to intercede (gathering for prayer and fasting through blowing the trumpet and the horn of rams),
Singing by faith (fear not but rather rejoice with gladness), and
Engaging the anointing for living (waiting for the anointing daily, He will pour out His Spirit).

These are the simple keys to step into restoration;

Repentance
Gathering to Intercede
Singing by faith
Engaging the anointing for living

I don’t know what you have been going through but I want you to look deep down in your life and hearts and ask yourself this simple question: is there anything I am not doing right? Is there anything we are not doing right in this marriage? In this nation? In this business? In this church! In this family? Have we missed anything?

The truth is, to do the same things under the same situation and expect a different result is foolishness. Change must happen now! The narrative must change!

[2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV] “if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Restoration will come immediately we sound the trumpet and the horns of ram to declare a solemn assembly and begin to pray and intercede. We must arise to pray and to intercede and trust God to save this family, this church, this business, and the nation. Some things will never change except they are pulled and pushed by prayer and fasting. Restoration calls for corporate prayer! We must gather to both intercede and fellowship!

Remember, God has promised to restore unto us all the wasted years. You will walk in total restoration. There are people who pray that you shall never rise, but God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of a man that He should repent. Whatever God has said, He will do.

Let us arise and begin to sing the church back to life! Let us come before the Lord with singing and thanksgiving and praise. Though we sit by the rivers of Babylon, our strength is in the joy of the Lord. There may not be a reason to sing and praise God, but sow your joy, singing, praise, and thanksgiving as a seed of faith.

[1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV] “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”

[Philippians 4:6‭-‬7 KJV] “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”.

Things may not have gone the way you expect but still, give thanks! People you called and counted as family did not treat you well, give thanks! You lost a good friend, give thanks! None of us knows what it could have been, just give thanks; it is the will of God concerning us!

Finally, remember to engage the anointing for everyday living. Do nothing on your own, confer with the Holy Ghost. Both what you say, see, and imagination must be inspired by the Holy Ghost (See Joel 2:28-29).

Faith declaration

I have no doubt that as we engage these simple prophetic tips; the wheel of restoration will begin to grind. Let us find time daily to spend time in the presence of God and fellowship with the Holy Ghost; singing, speaking the Scriptures, praying with all kinds of pray in the spirit. We are called to walk in the newness of the seasons. This is the season to wait on God for total restoration. RECEIVE IT IN JESUS’S NAME!
