Romans 13:11 (KJV) — “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”
We are living in a critical hour when the Church must awaken from spiritual slumber. Many have grown comfortable, distracted, or weary, while the world sinks deeper into darkness.
Yet God is calling us to arise, shine, and take their place as light-bearers. When the Church wakes up, the power of God shakes the earth, sinners are saved, and the glory of Christ fills the nations. It’s time to wake up, watch, and work while it is day!
- Call upon the Lord to awaken His Church from every form of spiritual sleep and complacency. Pray that the Spirit will stir believers everywhere to renewed passion, prayer, and purpose. See Ephesians 5:14; Isaiah 52:1–2
- Ask God to break the hold of worldliness, fear, and apathy that fdulls the spiritual senses of His people. Pray that the Church will once again hunger for righteousness and holiness. See James 4:4–8; Matthew 5:6
- Declare that the Church of Christ will arise in wisdom and power, shining brightly as salt and light in every community, school, and workplace. See Matthew 5:14–16; Daniel 12:3
- Pray that God will anoint pastors, leaders, and believers alike with boldness and discernment, empowering them to speak truth, win souls, and lead the harvest in this generation. See Acts 4:29–31; Joel 3:9–10
As we pray and act in faith, let us rejoice, for the Lord is awakening His Church and preparing a glorious Bride ready for His coming! See Ephesians 5:26–27
