1 Peter 5:8-9 KJV — Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: [9] whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
The seed for today is to be sober and vigilant. If there is just one thing you can commit to, be committed to being sober and vigilant. This is because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion, is walking about, he is going to and fro seeking whom he may devour; you will never be an easy prey for him. May the mighty hand of the Lord sustain you!
It’s important to understand that the devil cannot destroy everyone, he doesn’t have that power. What you need to do to stay safe from demonic oppression and satanic attack, is
- Be sober
- Be vigilant
- Resist him in faith, knowing that there is nowhere to run to.
The same affliction is being perpetuated everywhere; the only way out is to either resist him steadfastly or be devoured. There is no middle ground. You either resist him steadfastly or get devoured. There is no running away, there is nowhere to go. There is nothing to do, other than to fight and resist steadfastly.
Don’t get drunk! I rebuke every cloudiness in your mind! I pray that you will have clarity! May you receive great grace to fight back and to win the battle against darkness. You are more than able to win! We are more than conquerors!
