Matthew 5:13-16 KJV — Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. [14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
[15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
The seed for today is the wisdom to be the authentic you, while projecting the best version of yourself to the world. This is because God detests hypocrites. He is gracious to those who obey Him even when they miss the mark. If we faithfully confess our sins, we will receive help from Him rather than to pretend and to cover up our sins.
Believers who are authentic do well and last in the journey of faith. I pray that you will be the authentic you, while you project the best version of you! We understand that we are the light of the world and we ought to project the best version of who we are in Christ.
Hypocrisy is a beast and we ought to be authentic. Jehosaphat nearly died in battle because he disguised himself and put on an image he wasn’t. I pray that you will receive the power to become a son of God and walk in the good works that were prepared for you before the foundations of the earth began.
Hypocrites confuse those around them. You must learn to be authentic! Those who truly care about you will accept you for who you are. I am not in any way endorsing silly attitudes and behaviour; I am proposing that you out the best version of you. You will shine as light and project the best version of you.
Don’t come under pressure to project yourself as something you are not. You must strive to be the best you can be and project the best version you can be. Hush poor attitudes and beat your body under until you become the best you.
