I want to exhort you not to allow your momentary afflictions to make you lose hope. Because, not every beautiful story has a beautiful beginning. For many of us, Christmas is a moment of joy and excitement but that was not the case on the first Christmas. The first Christmas was a moment of crying, mourning, and wailing.
I may have no idea what you going through, but I do not doubt that whatever you are going through is working for you an eternal weight of glory. You will come out more beautiful and prepared for greater glory.
[2 Corinthians 4:16-18 KJV] “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
Do not focus on the pain that you face today. Rather look up to God and discover the greater purpose. You may be crying today nursing your wounds, but God is preparing you for greater success.
God will heal the situation as you learn to forgive and let go. Indeed, the things that are seen are temporal but those unseen are eternal.
I recall how the story of Christmas started. It started with a startling announcement, and worship, but soon, it to transitioned into weeping and wailing. But God had a greater plan. May His plans unfold for us too.
Beautiful Beginning
[Matthew 2:16-18 KJV] “Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.”
“Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.”
Dry your tears and lift your eyes. Something greater is coming. God is preparing a better day for you.
The once weak baby Jesus will soon grow and become the Prince of Peace.
Weeping and mourning may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning. You will win and not fail. God will take you to the next level. God will be your helper. I see a brighter day approaching.
Stay blessed, I love you!
