1 John 2:26-27 KJV — “These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. [27] But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.“
There is a powerful force in the world that is committed to seduce the people of God from following the truth. This powerful force uses the power of seduction and sweet talk to mislead many people. Let us therefore beware of people who attempt to spoil us with hollow philosophy after the traditions of men.
There are those who go round affirming lies and deception. They try to derail the faith of many. They establish their own righteousness and get deceived. I pray that you escape their schemes and plans. The simple secret to escape deception and seduction, is to understand that the anointing is a teacher. The same anointing teaches you. The same anointing leads you into all truth.
Beware of seduction; don’t be carried away by empty persuasion and lose talk. Note that God has higher standards than the world. What may sound okay to the world will be fought by God. Pray that the Lord will lead you into truth and guide your heart.
Prayer target
- Pray that God will anoint you with the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth.
- Pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to speak to you and through you.
- Pray that your senses shall be activated, to hear the voice of the Spirit.
- Pray for the continuous flow of His revelation and truth into our lives and church.
