2 Corinthians 10:3-6 KJV — For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: [4] (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
[5] casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; [6] and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
We know that though we walk in the flesh, we did not war after the flesh; however we have weapons that are mighty through God to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
One of the great arsenals of the kingdom of darkness are thoughts and imaginations thrown against you. When you are able to master your mind by the grace of God you have taken possession of one of the key areas that the devil used as a stronghold against you. Many have failed in this walk of faith, in marriage, in relationships because they didn’t master their imaginations. It is so easy to think and imagine high things that are against the knowledge of God.
What are you imagining? Does it align with the knowledge of God? When you allow imaginations and high things that don’t align with the knowledge of God to fill your mind, you walk outside the will of God. Mostly your imaginations affect your perception. A man is tempted and trapped into sin when he allows himself to be overcome by imaginations and things that exalt themselves above the knowledge of God.
This is the day and the time that we have to engage the weapons of war to cast down imaginations and thoughts that exalt themselves above the knowledge of God. I pray that you will receive grace to align, your mind and thinking with the will of God. May you win this battle against the arsenals of darkness! May your thoughts and imaginations align with the will of God!
