Mark 5:25-34 KJV — And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, [26] and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
[27] when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. [28] For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. [29] And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
[30] And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? [31] And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? [32] And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
[33] But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. [34] And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
I believe it’s important to tell you the truth that in the realms of the spirit most things are caught and not taught. It is one thing to encounter power but another level altogether to catch power. There are people who live in the midst of power and yet have not caught power. This is the time and season to prepare your heart to receive power.
According to the text above, there was a multitude that were thronging Jesus Christ; but only one woman caught what was relevant for her case. She caught the virtue that changed her case because she was prepared to catch something at the least encounter with Jesus. Most often, we come into the presence of God without an expectation or vision. The woman with the issue of blood came with an expectation to receive and to be blessed.
I exhort that to catch the anointing, you must;
- Come with an expectation to receive from God.
- Say the right things to yourself
- Catch and act on prophetic revelation and understanding
This is exactly what the woman did to catch the virtue that helped her. You will catch an anointing that will bless your life. I pray that you can prepare your heart and expectations to receive.

May the Lord help you to receive a fresh anointing that will bless you. May you not fall short of the link to power. Father, bless Your children to receive what You release in the name of Jesus Christ!
