Catch the anointing

Catch the anointing and go out there and serve the world and your generation. We cannot continue in the church dancing and clapping our hands while the world and our generation is dying out there. This is the time to catch the anointing; catch the vision; and catch the spirit to make an impact in the world around you.

It is time to represent the church and Jesus Christ in that school, in that office, in that house, in that space that God has given you. This is our time to make an impact and change the narrative. Whatever story they told before you arrived must change.

In one instance before Elisha came, the story of the city was different  but after he came the narrative changed. It’s time to heal the nations.

2 Kings 2:19-22 KJV — And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren. [20] And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.

[21] And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land. [22] So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.

In Acts 8, we learn that before Philip came to the city of Samaria, there was a wizard who controlled the city; but the narrative changed when Philip arrived.

Acts 8:4-13 KJV — Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word. [5] Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. [6] And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. [7] For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

[8] And there was great joy in that city. [9] But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: [10] to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

[11] And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries. [12] But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. [13] Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

Even in business, Laban testified that God had blessed him because of Jacob! May your presence bring a difference into the life of the business!

Genesis 30:25-28 KJV — And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country. [26] Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee.

[27] And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake. [28] And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I will give it.

Even in governance, Joseph left a mark in Egypt because God was with him. They may have sold you but God is with you and you will excel.

Acts 7:9-10 KJV — And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, [10] and delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

Ways to catch the Anointing

  • Catch the anointing through laying on of hands: Paul was anointed when Ananias laid hands on him. Timothy received the gift of God when Paul laid hands on him. Joshua received the spirit of wisdom when Moses laid hands on him. (Ser Acts 8:14-18)
  • Catch the anointing through fellowship: king Saul received the prophetic anointing through his encounter and fellowship with the company of Prophets.
  • Catch the anointing through listening to the word. In Acts 10:44, the household of Cornelius received the anointing while Peter was still speaking.
  • Catch the anointing through waiting on God (See Acts 1:1-10, Acts 13:1-5): In Luke 24:44-53, the Lord told them to wait until they were endued with power from on high. Waiting, releases the anointing and power for living.
  • Catch the anointing through reading: If magic is activated through books of curious arts, then the anointing can be transferred through reading.
  • Catch the anointing through following and serving with a desire and hunger to catch the anointing.

Stay blessed
