"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." (Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV) After being endowed with wisdom from above and searching out the greatest wisdom on earth and among men, Solomon the wisest man made a conclusion to life. He said the conclusion to life is fear the Lord and keep His commandments. Many of us are still wasting precious time trying to figure out what must be done. We are seeking to search out great wisdom on what are the most important secrets to a great life. Well the most important secret to a great life is to fear God and keep His commandments. The greatest wisdom and secret to a great life is to learn to fear God and hold His words as the secret to a great and fruitful life. You know why? It is because; God has the keys of David; if He closes a a door, no man can open. If He opens, no man can close. He is almighty and all powerful. This God has the keys of David. He shuts out one and releases the other. Only a fool takes Him for granted. Man proposes; but God disposes. Yea, you can make all your plans but God discharges them. I know of a fellow who went to bed having planned that he will wake up early morning to catch his flight to Paris, the next morning the flight was on schedule but he was in the morgue. Recently, I went to a high commission to take my passport, because I was applying for a visa. While I was there, another family came in to retrieve the passport of their deceased relative. She have been given five years multiple to the said country but she was late. Always remember that man proposes but God disposes. You will win when you fear God and keep His commandments. Promotion does not come from the East, West or South: It is He who sets one up and set down another. It is not of he who wills nor of he who runs but God who shows mercy and gives grace. God favours those He wants to. He is God all by Himself. We must learn to fear Him. Receive grace and may your election be sure in the name of Jesus Christ. If the Lord does not build a city, they labour in vain; that build it. This is the next truth you must admit. Only what God does shall be forever. If the Lord dies not leave us a remnant, we would be as Sodom. Listen, your whole duty is to fear God and keep His commandments. You are wise if you begin to fear. You are silly if you continue to take God for granted. Today is your day, decide to honour God with your life and choices. I encourage you to give your life to Jesus and to hold Him as the Lord of your life. To obey and to follow Him. Pray this prayer after me. "Lord Jesus, I believe you are the son of God who died, and on the third day the Father raised you from the dead. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life, Amen" You are now a child of God. Stay blessed, I love you
