Luke 24:46-49 KJV] “And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high”.
Inasmuch as I believe in the need to urgently step out, I am also aware that cold hearts cannot reach the lost. The Lord died and rose again so that repentance and the remission of sin may be preached to the nations beginning from Jerusalem, but cold hearts cannot reach the lost. We must reach the lost but it will take a fresh revival. The blind cannot lead the blind, the lost cannot show the way; we need a fresh touch from God.
We need a fresh touch and kindling from Heaven. The cold hearts must be put on fire again. We need a fresh fire that will expose and drive out snakes and phony people.
God send us Your holy fire. Stir up our hearts and spirits. We need your touch again. We need another Pentecost. We need a fresh touch of the Spirit.
Our Lord Jesus Christ therefore said “even though I have finished everything for the salvation of humanity, wait until you are endued with power from on high because cold hearts cannot reach the lost.” Ignite fresh fire in our hearts. May the plight and cry of the lost mean much to us! May we be willing to run over mountains and villeys to spread the word wherever man is found.
May the Lord send us fresh fire! May He build in us the tenacity of the Spirit! Pour upon us again oh Lord! Pour fresh fire! Let us recieve You one more time.
It is time to wait, it’s time to fast, it’s time to pray and call upon the mighty God, the Lord of the Harvest. This is that season and time. This is it. The harvest cannot wait.
Lord send us Your fresh unction to function. Our hearts are waiting for You.
