2 Timothy 2:22 KJV — Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
The Bible teaches that evil communications corrupt good manners. Many people who started well did not end well because of evil communication. Wrong associations have wrecked many lives than you can imagine. I pray that you will be guided by the Lord into helpful relationships and connections. The early church did well because they continued steadfastly in the apostle prayers and teachings and fellowship.
Continue steadfastly with those who call upon God out of a pure heart in prayer, the doctrine, and fellowship.
Acts 2:42-47 reveals that the early church was able to make an impact because all those who believed were together and continued steadfastly. Many of us are so busy doing many things for the Lord than spending quality time in fellowship with him and the brethren. We are so busy serving until we have lost touch with the person we claim to be serving.
The early church focused on the prayer and the fellowship; they spent time in His presence until it translated to increase. I am striving lately to be more faithful with my fellowship with God than with my ministry to others. I realized that when you have healthy communion and fellowship with Him; we have a better ministry to Him and others.
Many of us are busy serving as Martha, instead waiting as Mary. The Lord would rather that we sit at His feet and study, than to be away and serving. Serving is good but waiting is better! May the Lord empower you to wait at His feet to serve better.
- May the Lord make you more like Mary, than Martha. May we be more interested in sitting at His feet than serving in the kitchen. May you be more interested in sitting to listen, rather than serving tables. May we become more like Mary!
- May you receive at His feet grace and mercy and wisdom! May you never miss the grace that comes through waiting! May you stay blessed and impactful through waiting!
- May He renew your strength daily. And may the Lord touch you with grace!
Stay blessed
