Whether we like it or not, there is an active demonic and satanic operation going on among us and around us. There is an active scheme of darkness and satanism destroying the church.
We are allowing Jezebel, Balaam, and the Nicolaitans into the church. These evil servants of Satan are wreaking havoc in the church silently and quickly.
This is the time to take the bull by the horn! We cannot pretend anymore! We arise and fight to save the church from crushing! The church of God must march on! This is the time to contend for the faith!
[Jude 1:3-4 KJV] “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”
“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1. Pray that the Lord shall help us to rise to the occasion to exercise the authority given to us:
Remember in Luke 10:19, it is written that the Lord gave us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.
[Luke 10:19 KJV] “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Remember however that, it is one thing to be given power but it is another thing to be able to exercise that authority. Pray for the courage to use this power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over every power of the enemy.
Pray that the Lord will give you the faith to stand firm in authority. Pray that the power of the Lord would crush anything that is trying to harm you.
2. Pray for the grace to build up your self on your most Holy Faith;
A weak believer cannot deal with a strong devil. That is why you must build up yourself in your most holy faith. We must be strong in the Lord and the power of his might. Just as David could not wear the armour of Saul, it will take a certain strength to keep the armour of God on. It will take some strength to wear the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the sword of the spirit, even to walk in the shoes of the gospel. We need strength to be able to wear the armour.
The armour has weight and it takes some dimension of strength to walk in the truth. You need some strength to walk in righteousness or faith or to even hold on to the word.
Let us arise and pray for grace to wear the armour and to keep it on. Pray that you can build yourself on your most Holy faith! (See Jude 1:20, Ephesians 6:10-20)
3. Let us pray that God will help us to take a stand to withstand even in the evil day.
On a normal day, everyone may stand and pledge to stand. On a normal day, anybody can pledge loyalty and allegiance; but when God, time, and circumstances test you; your real nature will show.
Everybody can love God when all is well but when the devil slays your children, thieves ground your business, your health is challenged, your wife deserts you, and friends accuse you; your real faith will show.
Job was able to stand in the evil day because they had taken a stand to withstand. May the Lord help us to withstand!
You will not fail in the day of adversity! Say “amen” to that! When the going gets tough, you will still be going say “amen” to that! You are fortified! Shout “amen!”
4. Pray that the Lord will help us to continue in prayer, watching, supplication, and fasting with perseverance in the spirit of all saints and for the missionary.
If anything happens to our missionary, it affects us. Pray for pastor that the Lord shall deliver him from the great burden that is trying to break his back! Pray that the Angels of the Lord shall encamp around him and his household. Declare that a door of ministry and utterance shall be ministered unto him.
Pray for your brethren and the team of ministers. Pray that the Lord will save the church from mischief, manipulation, and witchcraft! Pray that snakes and scorpions and powers that have crept into the church; to hurt and harm her be crashed!
Pray that no other voice should speak in the church! May the voice of the Lord be amplified in the church! I silence every voice speaking amid the people!
Sometimes, some voices and images try to speak amid the people. We silience the voice of the midst multitude in the church. Lift up your voice and pray!
5. Pray that the weapons of our warfare shall become mighty through God to pull down strongholds.
Pray that the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony shall be activated. Pray that the word of God will have a free course with others. Pray that the Lord shall go with us and confirm our message with signs following. Let us pray! We must win!
Now! Declare with me:
Any Principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places must be bound!
We crash serpents and scorpions and every power of the enemy in the name of Jesus!
We pull down strongholds, we cast down imaginations and thoughts and high things that exalt themselves above the knowledge of God!
We exercise dominion over dominions, thrones, and principalities and powers; whether in the seen or the unseen realms; whether in the earthly or cosmic realm must be tamed and forced to aid the people of faith.
I have no doubt that you will win and I will win. We can rise above the schemes of darkness. The Lord will help us!
