1 Kings 13:1-5 KJV — And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Beth-el: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. [2] And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall be burnt upon thee.
[3] And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out. [4] And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Beth-el, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him. [5] The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.
This is the time to arise to cry out against an evil altar that is ministering against your life. We must arise and speak against the altar. Sometimes, you can’t even understand why certain things are happening but mostly it is the ministering of an evil altar. We speak now as oracles of God against every demonic altar erected to receive sacrifices and work against you.
The text above teaches how to deal with altars. The young man was instructed and came out of Judah to speak against the evil altar in Bethel. He had a word and he came out to speak against the altar. You are rising and must speak against all altars that are working against you in the name of Jesus Christ!
PRAYER GUIDE
- Pray against any altar erected at the gates of time to fight your rise and destiny. Pray that 2025 shall work together to your good. You must win and not fail!
- Pray that every evil altar in the city, that is ministering against you and keeping you from prospering must break! Pray that God will help you prosper in this city.
- Pray that evil altars of gossip, bitterness, anger, disloyalty etc that is fighting the growth and health of the church must break. Pray that God will kill every sacrifice that ministers on these altars to break. Let us pray that God will break down all evil altars working against the church, let them break and crash in pieces.
- Pray that every evil altar of drunkenness, unstable marriages, premature death and poverty is breaking. Pray that the Lord will liberate and heal your families from the effects of evil altars!
- Pray that evil altar working against you shall be broken! Pray against the altars of sicknesses, chains, lust, and rage. May you prevail against all evil altars erected against you!
