[Ecclesiastes 8:5-6 KJV] “Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment. Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.“
We are spending the day to pray for a wise heart to discern the three (3) things that complement each other to guarantee progress in life: purpose, time, and Strategy. The Bible reveals that a wise man’s heart discern both time and judgment when he has and knows his purpose.
We want to pray to discern,
- Purpose: What should my life goals, career goals, or even ministry goal be? What should be the one reason I should be living for now? What must my life purpose focus on.
- Time: What is the right time and occasion to take action on this purpose? We don’t want to miss our times and season. Pray for understanding into time. Even Herman, cast lots a whole year round to know the opportune time to strike at Mordecai!
- Judgement (or strategy): What is the best way to go about this thing. How should go about it. These are simple questions that we must answer right if we don’t want to goof.
It is time to pray for wisdom and a wise heart to discern both time and judgment. To every purpose, there is a time and strategy to go about it. May the Lord grant you a wise heart to discern what time it is and what strategy will work in this time.
You will fail if you do the right thing at the wrong time and in the wrong way. That is why we need a wise heart to discern both time and judgment. There are certain methods and strategies that worked 10 years ago that won’t work now. We need to pray and discern the times and what the season demands.
Pray targets
- Ask God to give you understanding into the times and seasons to know what you must do, when, and how. Pray that God will give us an understanding and a discerning heart to understand times and season.
- Ask God to forgive, renew, and empower you to fully possess and maximise the potential of the new doors and opportunities in the coming season. Pray that God will equip us to possess every great and effectual door!
- Decree with Me! Say “I possess the gates of 2023!” Ask God to help you to cross over into 2023 strong, renewed, and empowered. Pray that God will increase your strength to subdue the giants of 2023!
- Declare now! “I plough, uproot and thresh every thorns and briers in my life! I uproot every plantings of the wicked in my Life! Father, overturn every schemes of the wicked, hidden for my soul!”
- “Father, help us to escape the traps of the wicked. Give us discerning and wise hearts to escape the schemes of the wicked. Show everyone of us the way and empower us to ride upon the high placess in 2023!“
- Thank God for wisdom!
