[Isaiah 32:13-15 KJV] “Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city: because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.”
It is important to state that our fruitfulness is tied to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Scriptures teaches that thorns and briers shall grow in the land until the spirit be poured; then wilderness shall be fruitful field; and the fruitful field transformed to a forest.
I know that we are in the season of flourishing, hence the need to desire and pray for the outpouring of the Spirit. We need another outpouring! We want the times of refreshing to come upon us one more time. We don’t want to live a dry and scarce life. We want to walk into greener pastures and stilled waters.
We have a promise to look forward to. May God cause the clouds to empty themselves upon our fields and cause us to flourish and bear fruits even in old age. This is the time and now is the season.
May Jesus help us! May the Father watch over His word to perform. Lift up your voice and pray! Pray and wait in faith. This is the time and now is the season.
