[John 16:7 KJV] “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you”.
The Bible teaches us in Mark 11:23-25, that whatsoever things we desire when we pray, we should believe that we have it and it shall be ours. I want to desire the Holy Spirit this week. Let us trust and pray that God will give us His Holy Spirit with the seven-fold dimensions associated with Him.
The Holy Spirit is the most important person on earth today; but He is the person we have the least relationship with. Many of us don’t even know who He is. He is the third person of the trinity, He is a person and not a force. He is real and a person.
When our Lord Jesus Christ was with the disciples, they lacked nothing, they were not limited in any way; now we have another Comforter of the same kind, hence you must not need anything nor be limited! It is, however, unfortunate that we least relate with Him. Many of us live our lives so independent of Him that we do not reap the comfort or help He brings.
Let us spend time understanding who he is; and the dimensions of Him we can explore. It is my desire and prayer that you shall recieve a fresh outpouring and manifestations of the Spirit. May the Lord baptise us with His Spirit anew!
- Desire and pray that the person and presence of the Holy Spirit shall be with us. May we recieve His person and presence. When the shout of the king is among us He will rebuke witches and wizards and enchantments against us. Recieve power after the Holy Gjost is come upon you.
- Desire and pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the manifestations of the Holy spirit for profiting.
- Desire and work hard to bear the fruit of the Holy Ghost. The fruits of the Holy Spirit is for character development
- Desire to speak by inspiration. The utterance of the Holy Spirit brings edification. “He that prays in an unknown tongue edifies himself“.
- Pray for the seven spirits of God for quick understanding.
- Pray that our preaching shall come with the manifestations of the spirit. The demonstrations of the Holy Spirit and power to give foundation to our faith
- Pray and crave the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. We must know that he is with us and must see Him. May the Lord grant us visions of His manifestations in the name of Jesus Christ.
