Luke 11:14-17, 19-26 KJV — And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered. [15] But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.
[16] And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven. [17] But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against an house falleth.
[19] And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. [20] But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
[21] When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: [22] but when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.
[23] He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. [24] When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
[25] And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. [26] Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
One day, after the Lord had cast out devils with ease, the Jews thought He must have a rapport with Beelzebub the prince of devils to be able to do that. This is what warranted the teaching on how to cast out devils with ease. You don’t need any rapport with the prince devils to be able to cast out demons that are plaguing your life, business and career with ease.
The Lord rather taught that if you want to be able to cast out devils and exercise dominion in every situation, then;
- Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might
- Overpower and disarm the strong man or the prince over the situation, then
- Go in and divide the spoil
We will do well when we fortify ourselves and arise to fight and overpower the strong man. This is the time to pray that God will anoint and empower us with might and the power to heal the sick and cast out devils. May the Lord equip us with power as we pray! The Bible says, the Lord instructed the early apostle to wait in Jerusalem until they are endured with power from on high. This is the time to wait for power. You must not struggle with devils! We must win over the strong man. We must disarm and over power him to deal with every situation he controls.
Receive power and let us go in and disarm the princes of pride, bitterness, and familiarity. You must overpower these demons and take charge. Receive grace to go in and lay hands on the sick; that is how we dodged the spoil. It is not enough to pray, but to also go in and preserve the harvest! This is the time and now is the hour. Arise and reach out! Arise and fight to take territories! Fight and win!

Today’s Prayer
Pray that God will anoint and equip us with power! Pray that every strong man standing as Lord over the bad situation in your life and family shall be disarmed! Pray that you will be able to repossess the territory lost to the devil in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
