Proverbs 30:32-33 MSG — If you’re dumb enough to call attention to yourself by offending people and making rude gestures, Don’t be surprised if someone bloodies your nose. Churned milk turns into butter; riled emotions turn into fist fights.
Wickedness has become so real in our world today; people will take advantage of you till you run dry when you become the good guy. It is however important for us to understand that there is a limit to which any human, no matter how wonderful they are to take nonsense. There is a limit to which each of us can take provocation; the Bible says “don’t be surprised when someone bloodies your nose when you become rude.”
It is normal that people will get violent when you become rude and approach them with offending gestures. Don’t blame people when they get offensive after you have provoked them. As children of God we must learn how to be respectful and treat others with politeness. Actions and reactions are usually equal but opposite. Though sometimes people accommodate your rudeness and offensive gestures; they may get overwhelmed and react.
When milk is churned enough, it produces butter. Learn to treat people well or get ready to face their anger. This is only natural and consequential.
Stay blessed
Today’s Prayer
Dear Lord,
I pray in the name of Jesus Christ to walk circumspectly. Help me to treat people with respect and honour. Help me to control my temper when I feel offended and walk in the spirit!
Amen!
