The Psalmist said “when the Lord turned our captivity we were like them that dream.” As you hold this message in your hands, you can expect to see a supernatural turnaround once you are able to engage with the truth it reveals.
Throughout this week, we are trusting God to turn things around for your good. We will be inspired by the wisdom and life of Daniel to seek this turned around. I pray that the God of Daniel will visit somebody and turn things around for you and your family.
The life and choices of Daniel teaches timeless lessons which we can engage to turn things around. The Life of Daniel teaches us the need for;
- Separation: In the book of Daniel 1:8, young Daniel though far away from home will not defile himself with the king’s meat nor wine. Throughout his stay in Babylon and under different kingdoms, the servant of God still set himself apart. Daniel was a man well beloved.
- Persistent and consistent prayer and fasting: The life of Daniel is defined by his prayer life. He prayed consistently and throughout his life; not even the King’s decree could stop Daniel from praying. He prayed not less than 3 times a day. May the Lord stir us to pray!
- Great faith in the word of God: In Daniel 9, when he understood by the books, he began to pray until something happened. Daniel believed every bit of God’s word. Though the prophecy was 70 years old, he still counted on it. If you really want a supernatural turnaround don’t despise prophecy!
- Divine revelation: Many of the things Daniel didn’t know were revealed to him in dreams and visions. Daniel 2, 8, and 10 show how much Daniel took dreams and visions seriously.
- Activate angelic ministry: Inasmuch as I believe in the ministry of the five fold ministers and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, I also believe in the ministry of angels. They are ministers sent to serve the heirs of salvation.
- Fellowship with those who call upon God out of a pure heart: Daniel had Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these were the three friends that kept him warm.
- Total submission and yielding to the will of God: Daniel was totally yielded to God.
Stay blessed
