I want to exhort you on exploring more mysteries of God. We want to have the same audacity as Apostle Paul.
[2 Timothy 1:12 KJV] “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”
We want to have the same convictions as Paul had in own our walk with God. Apostle Paul was so sure that he knew Whom he had believed. Do you also know who you have believed?
So, what about God are we going to explore in this message?
1. God is able to keep anything that we commit to Him:
The Lord is mighty and terrible, hence, able to keep anything we commit to Him. We can trust God better when we are fully persuaded of His ability to keep the things we commit to Him against that day.
When you commit something to the care of God, nobody can mess with it. God is able to keep all that we commit to His care. He is more than able.
2. God cannot be mocked:
This is one of the greatest revelations that every one of us must have of God. He cannot be mocked, He cannot be deceived. Whatsoever a man sows, so shall he reap. If you sow in the flesh, you will reap corruption, if you sow in the spirit you reap eternal life.
[Galatians 6:7-9 KJV] “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Let us be careful what we sow; and be bold about giving our best because the Lord will watch over His word to give back to us in a good measure that is pressed down, shaken together, and running over.
3. God is not a man that He should lie, nor is He the son of man, that He should repent:
God always does the things He says, especially the good things He says. God keeps His promise and honours His word. The Lord does not lie nor refrain from keeping His word. Because God is not a man that He should lie, we shall not be afraid of what the enemy will do. God will keep His word. He will be faithful even when we are unfaithful.
[Numbers 23:19 KJV] “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
4. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble:
We can rest assured that God is our refuge and strength and a very present help in times of trouble. We must not be afraid of what happens or the circumstances around us; God is able and God will see us through.
[Psalms 46:1-3 KJV] “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.”
I am not aware of what kind of storms is against you but one thing that I know is that God is our refuge and we shall not fear.
Stay blessed, I love you
