Fruits is the reason why Jesus died
The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus Christ died , that He might see the travail of His soul and be satisfied. He laid down His life that we would be fruitful. It pleased the Lord to bruise Him because, it would save the world.
“Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities” (Isaiah 53:10-11 KJV)
We can bear fruits as members of His body. He was made an offering for sin that He might see His seed and prolong His days. We cannot sleep on the job.
Fruit bearing must be after your kind
The Lord expects that we bear fruits after our kind. Fruit bearing trees bear fruits after their kind. You can reach and win people of your kind better. You can serve them better.
“And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.” (Genesis 1:11 KJV)
It is conventional wisdom, you must become all things to all people if you can win some. It is much easier to win your kind. Let us try to reach out to our kind.
Fruit bearing is the purpose of our calling and a guarantee to 100% answered prayer
It is our primary calling and gaurantee of 100% answered prayer. We glorify God when we bear fruits. It is His desire. We must bear fruits to bring glory to His name.
“Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
(John 15:8, 16 KJV)
When we bear fruits, the Father answers our prayers. We are called to this purpose so He answers our prayers so that we can bear more fruits. He chose us to bear fruits. He chose us; we did not chose Him.
Christians who don’t bear fruits shall be judged
“He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.”
(Luke 13:1-9 KJV)
Every tree must bear fruits; the Lord planted us in His house to bear fruits. We cannot just take up space and not be fruitful. We must bear fruits. He wants to see fruits. After being saved, we must lead others to Christ! We must bear the fruits of the Spirit, the fruits of repentance, the fruits of righteousness, etc. We must bear fruits in order to continue to enjoy blessings. (Hebrews 6)
Fruit bearing takes process and time
“And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.”
(Mark 4:26-29 KJV)
Growth and fruitfulness is a mystery. We may not fully understand how it comes about, but as we sow and nurture our seeds with a good heart, it will grow and bear fruits. It takes time but not forever. It happens in a process, not by magic.
Stay blessed; I love you!
