Exodus 15:26 KJV — and said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
Healing and divine health is the covenant birthright of the child of God! We have an assurance and promise from God that when we are obedient to His voice, He will keep us from all the diseases He put on Egypt. You can walk in divine health and healing as a covenant right! He is the God that heals us!
We know that the God we serve is the God that heals us. His name is Jehovah Rapha. It is so important to understand that healing is God’s power to restore and God is still in the healing business. Healing is for today and has not passed. God still has the power and the willingness to heal all who come to him for healing!
Let us understand that God heals all diseases. He heals every type of disease and you can trust him for healing!
Types of healing
There are three types of healing
- Physical or organic healing: Jesus healed the woman with the issue of blood [Mark 5:25-34]. He also healed lepers [Matthew 8:1-3]. I don’t know what condition you are dealing with in your body; God is able to heal and will heal you completely!
- Emotional healing: In psalm 147: 3, God heals our broken heartedness and binds our wounds. In 1Kings 19:1-18, we learn that God healed the depression and discouragement of Elijah! If you feel burnt out, come to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ heals every condition! Receive the touch of healing and grace today in the name of Jesus Christ!
- Spiritual healing: 1Peter 2:24, some sicknesses can not be healed except the sins and spirits behind them are dealt with first! God does not just heal physical and emotional diseases, he also heals spiritual conditions! I subdue the power and infirmity and I decree that you will be totally healed in the name of Jesus Christ!
Ways to find healing
There are many channels and ways I. Which healing is administered but we shall discuss four:
- By the laying on of hands! Mark 16:15-20, Healing is administered through the laying on of hands by believers .
- By anointing with oil, followed by the prayer of faith! From the teaching in James 5:14-16, healing comes through calling elders to anoint you with oil, confessing sins, and prayer of faith.
- Through the word being spoken. From Psalm 107:20, we know that healing comes through receiving the word. Healing comes through healing scriptures and confession. He sent his word and healed them.
- Finally, healing comes through lifestyle change and medication. From 1 Timothy 5:23, apostle Paul admonished Timothy to change his lifestyle. Healing may come through lifestyle change and medication.
Remember, God wants you well anyway, anyhow. Stay blessed and walk in health! May the Lord take away from you any infirmity and weakness! As you receive this communion, receive your healing in the name of Jesus Christ!
