Hebrews 9:27-28 KJV — And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: [28] so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Let us spend this morning reminding ourselves of four principal laws for living:
Love and serve God all the days of your life
He is your source, sustainer, and strength. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” — Romans 8:28
Love yourself
Nobody can love you more than you love yourself. Love yourself enough to eat well, rest well, dress well, think well, behave well. There is nothing more fulfilling than self love. “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” — 3 John 1:2
Live peaceably with all men
You will always need God and other people in life. Just live peaceably with men. “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men” — Romans 12:18
Mind your business
Be vigilant, notice everything but mind your business. Many of the people coming around you are coming because of what they can gain not what they can contribute. Take care of your business, and make your business, your business.
“And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;” — 1 Thessalonians 4:11
Many people ignore these truths and get punished severely. There are four things that matter in things salvation, life, relationships and networks, and your work or business or wealth. I pray that you will wake up by this message and walk in this truth.
