Luke 22:7-13 KJV — Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. [8] And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. [9] And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
[10] And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. [11] And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
[12] And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. [13] And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
It is clear from the text above that Jesus Christ and His disciples prepared well ahead for every event; we must prepare for every event. Beyond preparing the meeting place, we must prepare in prayer as well.
Here are four ways to pray into a whole night prayer meeting:
- Pray that God will prepare the man of God and his team. Pray that God will give him utterance and work mighty miracles by his hand. Pray that God will deliver the entire team from wicked and unreasonable men!
- Pray that God shall gather His saints and the community to the Outpouring All-Night service. May God grant us good weather! Pray that the Holy Spirit shall gather the people in their numbers as we invite them by tract and broadcast!
- Pray that the presence of the Lord shall be present heavily and the word of eternal life shall have its free course with us. Pray that the power of God shall be present to liberate the oppressed and heal the sick.
- Pray that our gadgets shall work favourably and we shall experience massive outpouring of the Holy Spirit again! Pray that God will pour upon us the spirit of grace and of supplication to be able to mourn and pray with sincerity and grace.
I believe, as we groan in prayer, the atmosphere becomes super charged and the hindrances to the meeting are removed. May you experience grace like never before. May the mighty hand of the Lord be revealed and may you walk into greater dimensions of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
Stay blessed!
