It Takes more than Prayer to Fulfill Destiny

It Takes more than Prayer to Fulfill Destiny

“And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:  But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.” (Exodus 13:17‭-‬18 KJV)

We know that Jesus Christ, the son of God is the author of our salvation. He came to seek and to save us because we were lost and sold to sin and the devil, and death. He has redeemed us by His blood as Israel was harnessed out of Egypt to possess the seven mountains of the then Canaan. We are redeemed to influence the world and contribute to the quality of life of the people, while we wait to be raptured. We were not left here to while away time.

“When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;” (Deuteronomy 7:1 KJV)

We are called and equipped to influence our world with light and fire. We must influence the world around us with our understanding and anointing. No man lights a candle and puts it under a basket; rather he strategically positions it to serve those in his household. You are separated, ignited, and positioned to serve the household of God.

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.   Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.   Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14‭-‬16 KJV)

Our increase and prosperity does not depend on how much we pray but on the extent of our service. We must possess our mountain if we want to prosper and influence our world.

I don’t know whether Bill Gates, Donald Trump, and the business leaders around the world spend days and nights in prayer meetings. I am not suggesting that they don’t pray. I will be a hypocrite to water down the need to pray. I pray and pray and pray because my life depends on prayer and my relationship with God; indeed the power released through prayer is transformed into progress, prosperity, health and salvation because I;

  1. Understand my mission out there
  2. Run with a vision I have read (Habakkuk 2:1-4)
  3. Set faith goals (Proverbs 29:18)
  4. Develop functional structures
  5. Put together inspiring strategies that bridge the gap between my ideas and resources
  6. Give myself wholly to my pursuits and principles that govern my vocation
  7. Focus on the mark of the high calling of Christ. I don’t conform to the world’s standards
  8. Shun the things that overthrow kings

I see you fulfilling your destiny as you meditate on and walk in these steps.

Stay Blessed; I love you!
